Section 9
Government vehicles

(1) A vehicle owned by the Government of Nepal, State Government or local level, which is registered in the name of a government office and has received a certificate of registration, shall be called a government vehicle.
(2) For the identification of the government vehicle, number plates as written in section (d) of Schedule-2 should be placed in front and behind the said vehicle.
